I’ll be working here for six months for Google; Patti has left i Trulli and will be spending the next six months on sabbatical. We started out the trip right by going to a wedding in Doonbeg, Ireland. We’re staying at The Lodge at Doonbeg, which overlooks the Atlantic Ocean. It’s beautiful; over 200 yards of tidal pools are exposed at low tide; there is a beautiful sandy beach with tons of great shells. We met a bunch of nice folks at the wedding; the food and drink were also fantastic.

First impressions of Ireland:

  • The Irish are a friendly people
  • Guinness is excellent here
  • The food is surprisingly good

I’ll write more later, but we have to catch breakfast!
